It is not our policy to make sales of any alcohol to persons under the legal age.

If despite our best efforts to maintain stock levels, we run out of a particular product, we will email you to offer a substitute. This excludes hampers.

Bon gout delicatessen explicitly retains the right at any time to revise prices to take account of any increases in costs, including the increase or imposition of any tax, duty or other levy and any variation in exchange rates.

All weights / measures on fresh produce are approx weight / measures. Due to the nature of fresh produce, we will endeavour to get as close to the right weight / measure ordered whether it be more or less than the quantity ordered. Cheese supplied by Bon Gout Delicatessen are noted for suitability as follows - (V) Suitable for vegetarians. (UP) Un-pasteurised, (E) Ewes Milk, (G) Goats Milk.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Go to Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept Visa and Mastercard and Switch or Delta debit card. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet. UK cheques and Euro Cheques will be cleared by the bank prior to despatch.

Delivery Schedule

We will endeavour to have your order dispatched within 5 working days for delivery on Tuesday - Friday to most UK mainland addresses by 4 pm (highland and islands - add 1- 2 days).

Orders will be dispatched on receipt of goods from suppliers for next day delivery by overnight courier (you will be notified of the date). Our couriers cannot leave a parcel without a signature. You should ensure that someone is available to sign for the parcel otherwise a £6.99 surcharge will be added to your bill.

Be aware that parcels left without a signature of receipt are entirely at your own risk. We are unable to compensate for theft or damage to a parcel delivered in this manner .

National next day delivery (by 4pm) is a standard price of £8..50 inc. VAT up to 15 kg in weight (excluding Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle ofMan and highlands of Scotland - rates available on request. Earlier deliveries - are available on request. We aim to deliver overseas within 14 days.

Next day delivery to customers will be subject to availabilty and delivery from our suppliers.

It is the customers responsibility to check with the appropriate authorities to ensure the goods they order are not prohibited.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Guarantee : Returns/Refunds

We will replace or refund the price of faulty goods or goods damaged in transit provided that within 3 days of receipt of the goods you notify us that the goods are faulty or damaged and indicate whether the goods are to be replaced or price refunded.

If the goods are damaged or the subject of an insurance claim we may request you to retain the goods for evidence until our claims settled. If the goods received are unacceptable due to quality or to our misinterpreting your order, then the cost of return will be borne by us. Any other reason for return is at your cost.

Certain food items dy be prohibited in a country to which they may be sent. It is the customers responsibility to check with the appropriate authorities to ensure the goods they order are not prohibited. We do not accept any responsibility for losses or breakages incurred due to the goods being confiscated by local authorities.

It is also the responsibility of the customer to pay local taxes or import duties that may be applicable.
